TV or streaming that can help you get fit
One of the most popular New Year’s resolutions is to get fit, but adjusting our daily routines can be a challenge. One of the best ways to stick to a fitness program is to use streaming and smart TV. There are so many workouts readily available, and they offer a way to make sure you stay on track with your fitness goals. If you prefer to workout in front of your TV, here are some options you can choose from.
Get fit with free fitness optionsThe Samsung Health TV app shows off its fitness features on the daily app page to help you get fit!
Most smart TVs and streamers offer built-in channels and content ranging from cooking to meditation to fitness. One of the benefits of using these devices for fitness is that many fitness apps are free. You can choose from saved video streams, live workouts, or select apps that help you with activities like weight training or yoga. All you need is a little space in front of the TV and a small weight or two and you’re on your way to a healthier lifestyle.
There are different media streams that you can choose from to access free apps.Roku is a popular streaming device that has thousands of yoga, pilates and other workout apps. You can also install Google Chromecast on your TV to stream free workouts on YouTube or other online channels.
Fitness+ for Apple Smart TV
Apple TV media streaming comes with the Fitness+ app. If you’re using an Apple (Apple) device, you can get a three-month trial of Fitness+ right away. Once your trial is over, you can choose a paid option that costs $12.99 per month or $99.99 per year. While a paid membership and an Apple Watch are required to use Fitness+, it’s a great option if you prefer to socialize your workouts in the comfort of your own home.
I have to say that of all the options I’ve seen, Fitness+ has a wide range of features. The main attraction is the pre-recorded workouts provided by professional fitness experts. They also provide you with 12 workout types including kickboxing, yoga, jogging, biking, and even dancing. When you’re done with your workout, you can chill out with your trainer or spend some time meditating.
Samsung Health TV
Workout at home
Samsung has put a lot of effort into its fitness program in recent years, and some believe it has begun to compete with Apple’s Fitness+. One of the reasons for its popularity is the quality classes and healthy routines available to its users. You can also connect Samsung devices to Samsung smart TVs. Devices such as smartwatches, heart rate monitors and sensors will connect to the TV app and you will be able to see a real-time view of your fitness status and progress. This is a great way for you to push yourself during your workouts, and having your device connected to your TV can create a seamless experience.
Downloadable Fitness Apps for Smart TVs
Even if your smart TV or streaming device doesn’t have a full fitness channel like fitness +, there are tons of apps you can download on other smart TVs to make sure you’re getting a great workout.
Sony’s fitness app Advagym offers straightforward guidance and tools
The Advagym smartphone app shows a week’s worth of total workouts and recommended workout routines and how they can help you stay healthy
Advagym is a fitness training app for anyone who wants to take their workouts to the next level. Available on Sony TV, they have a lot of unique workout options, and it’s easy to set goals and see progress updates.
For me, the best part of this app is the ability to connect with a personal trainer. With Advagym, you can interact with a trainer to help you with your total body workout. You can do a 20-minute HIIT workout with a trainer or learn how to eliminate muscle flexing through stretching and self-massage. You can use Advagym at the gym or at home, and they make it easy to stick to your new fitness program.
Have you worked with Nike and Netflix?
While you can download a new app or try out a new fitness platform, you can also take advantage of streaming services you may have signed up for. Netflix is streaming Nike Training Club fitness videos starting at the end of 2022. They have 30 hours of videos that include core, yoga, and HIIT workouts. If you’re a beginner looking to get motivated, it can be helpful to use a streaming service you’re already used to using.
